R44 Exclusive Lease Program

Orbic Air has developed an exclusive program to provide you with the privileges of helicopter ownership without the hassles.  One of the primary hurdles in the helicopter arena is the challenge and limitations associated with the rental of aircraft.  Primarily in the 4 seat helicopters, like the Robinson R44, rental is simply not an option.  Due to insurance restrictions, operators are not able to rent the aircraft to you.

As a result of this dilemma, Orbic has worked out an arrangement with our insurance carrier, to allow us to qualify certain individuals and allow them to be treated as owners.  This exclusive program will afford these qualified individuals to have access to our R44 for purposes of multi passenger rental as well as over night rentals.

Aircraft

You will have access to our 2008 Robinson R44 II.  Robinson is known worldwide for its
high performance, reliable helicopters.  The R44 is the world's top selling helicopter, and
yours is equipped with all the bells and whistles.

Pilot Requirements

To qualify for this exclusive program, the individual must, at a minimum, hold a rotorcraft category and helicopter class rating.  If you have never flown an R44, you will also undergo transition training of no less than 10 hours with an Orbic instructor.  Additionally, all participants will need to go through the Robinson Safety Course training.  We are looking for pilots who possess the skill set of a safe, proficient pilot, and who demonstrate sound judgment.

Management

Through the professional services of Orbic Air, we will manage the helicopter on behalf of all managers, eliminating the usual hassles of aircraft ownership, including maintenance, insurance, FAA documentation, property taxes, hangar, cleaning, and scheduling.

Scheduling

Online:  We provide for 24 hour scheduling through our online system, which can be accessed
anywhere you can obtain internet access.

Hours:  The number of hours per year is unlimited, subject to availability and usage by other
members.

Overnights:  Overnight flights are allowed.

Costs

There are only two costs associated with lease program.   As you will see when you compare the cost with sole ownership, you will find significant cash flow savings as well as enhanced opportunity costs for your cash that is not tied up in just one asset.

Membership Fee: This is your cost to gain access to the program.  This is an annual fee.

Hourly Usage:  This fee covers the cost of fuel, oil, and maintenance and engine reserves.   This fee is only incurred when you fly.

Terms

Duration: The length of the contract is one year.

End of Contract Options:  At the end of the term, participants will have a couple of options.

1.     Renew your membership.
2.     Allow your membership to expire, and walk away.
